Finding Your Voice – A Branding Session with Beth Vickers
One of the things I love most about photography is the people it brings into my life. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Beth Vickers, a vocal coach who needed branding photos for her website and social media.
Beth and I connected through mutual friends in the theatre world. I had actually seen her perform in a friend’s play in 2024, and when she reached out for a branding session, I knew we’d have a lot in common.
Beth’s journey into vocal coaching is an inspiring one. Having previously worked in recruitment, she discovered that her true passion and vocation lay in teaching. Helping others find their voice—both literally and figuratively—has become her calling. As someone who also transitioned careers, I could deeply relate to the excitement and challenges that come with such a change.
Our session was filled with conversation about theatre, neurodiversity, career shifts, and the shared experience of being Brits making a home in New Zealand. There’s something so energising about connecting with someone on multiple levels, and that synergy translated beautifully into her photos.
Beth wanted images that reflected her professionalism, warmth, and creativity—qualities that shine through in her coaching. We crafted a series of shots that felt natural, engaging, and true to her personality, ensuring she had a strong visual presence for her brand.
I’m so excited to see how Beth uses these photos to tell her story and grow her business. If you’re looking for a vocal coach who truly understands the power of voice, Beth Vickers is the one to watch!
